Does a picture really speak a thousand words?

Recently I was at an event about GenAI where I had seen how far it’s ability to progress images had come of the last 18 months. So it got me thinking about this quote. Does a picture really speak a thousand words. I have written a number of posts over the years and each of them is less than a thousand words. So I thought, wouldn’t it be interesting to see if GenAI could generate an image for each of my blog posts. It would be great to see if it is able to communicate what I have written in less than 1000 words with one image. Additionally would this improve over time?

So I have decided to take six posts that I have written and load them into four different GenAI’s, Gemini, Claude, Copilot and ChatGPT. I am interested to see the output for each of these. Also in six months time whether that prompt will generate the same image.

This is the simple prompt that I have chosen for this task. Can you generate an image that summarises this linkedIn post?

I will be adding a post a week on this topic throughtout October and November 2025.
